  • Useless if it can be uninstalled easily from iPad

I installed the app and configured it on my child’s iPad and then tried to delete the app to see if my child can remove the protection, the app was deleted without question asked. I then tried to remove the profile, I was asked for the iPad password which will be known to my child because it is his iPad. The profile was deleted again without any additional security checking. I got an notification telling me the app is removed. But it gave me the same old steps I used at first place to reinstall it. So there is no protection if it can be easily removed without checking for password that the child doesn’t know.

  • Works mostly, but activity reporting delayed

I recently installed on my daughters laptop. The limits and filters seem to work well, but the activity reporting, is delayed. I receive alerts real time, but oftentimes, don’t see the activity until the next day. Have reinstalled multiple times and have already reported to Qustodio.

Never worked. Tried five different solutions. Never worked. Customer service is nonexistent. There is no human being to speak to. I have no idea how this company is still in business.

I’ve been using Qustodio for a little over two years now and I still appreciate the services they provide. In my opinion, it is definitely worth the cost. I am an iPhone user so it doesn’t work to the extent that it does on Android, but paired with the new parental controls that Apple provides, I have found a good balance. Over the past two years, Qustodio has also proven to respond quickly and well to support help requests. Additionally, they have appropriately upgraded their service and have been able to make appropriate changes with changing technology. I can tell they are still working out a few bugs but nothing that is debilitating to what I am doing with my kids’ phones.

Blocks sites quickly, easy way to monitor activity, prevents uninstall. Love the alert settings. Provides opportunity for discussion with kids. Appreciate emails/articles with additional education.
  • VPN issues!

The 3 day trial was a bust! The vpn within the management profile didn’t have internet. The app was on an active 14 yr old and for 3 days he has been whaling about not being connected and being able to do anything on his phone. I deleted the app and now making sure there aren’t any subscriptions to the app! Trash app!

I’m not crazy about this app. One thing: when out of town, the entire week my family was at our hotel we could not connect to the hotel’s WiFi because of Qustodio. It blocks access to some WiFi networks. Even when I tried to uninstall the app we still could not get access. After it was uninstalled I still received error msg related to Qustodio when trying to get on the hotel’s WiFi.
  • Not good with iPhones

Worked fine for a week or two, then: Disabled iCloud Locks iPhone out of WiFi Stoped sharing phone location on any WiFi network Customer support states I have to contact my internet provider, get a degree in computer science, reprogram my router, etc Just what I need to do instead of keeping tabs on my kids . Ironic
