When the app works, the app functions perfectly. I pay the premium price, but feel as if I spend more time stopping scam phone calls and updating the app database than being informed when a call originates from less than desirable source. I recognize too many numbers exist to prevent every one, but really, why pay to ignore phone numbers I do not know, when I already do that anyway? Save your money.
  • Thank you so much!

Update: For some reason blocked numbers are able to still call me. Why is this happening? If they are blocked then their unwanted calls shouldn’t be able to ring through. This app is great. So much easier to block phone numbers than it is going through your carrier. I just wish you could set the app to do automatic call protection updates. If you added that to the next update I would definitely change my 4 star rating to a 5 star rating.

I downloaded the app and subscribe only to unblock u know callers. I asked my friend call me from unknown number and the app did not help. So canceling the subscription.
  • Does NOT Block Numbers with same three digits

I purchased the premium version specifically so it would block numbers with the same area code and first three digits of my phone number. So far it lets ALL come through Not what I was expecting for an app that list this as selling features
  • Not blocking spam calls

Keep getting calls that show up in the apps DB as spam but does not tack action to block it
  • Used to be good

This used to be a great app but then it started to not work. Kept getting a bunch of unsolicited spam calls and Hiya wasn’t catching them. I decided I’d give premium a try and it’s not much better. Everything is “no name available.” So I unsubscribed and now it’s telling me, “upgrade to premium to see who the caller is.” No, I did that run around and I’m not doing it again. Probably will uninstall.

I like the app because it can identify spam calls but I do think it’s kind of pushy to upgrade to premium just to get a name that matches the number.
