I had an old recipe app that had not been updated for a couple of years. It had all my old recipes (mine, family and came across ones). I was afraid one day the app wouldn’t open and they’d all be lost. Then I came across Recipe Keeper. I quickly realized this was the app for me and gladly upgraded to premium. It allowed me to quickly and easily upload all of my recipes from the other obsolete app. It had a great UI that sorts all your recipes by main dish...side dish...breakfast etc. then it also breaks it down by keyword if you have a craving for beef or pasta etc. The big drag is that it also has a weekly meal planner and as quick as you can add your dinners, you can create a shopping list for everything you’ll need. What normally takes my wife and I 30-45 PER DAY to figure out dinner, this week in 5 minutes we put together a meal plan and shopping list. It even breaks the shopping list into meat, dairy, bakery, spices etc. Honestly I’ve never written such a detailed review, but other than showing up at my house and cooking dinner for us, I don’t think there is much more I could ask this app to do.

I had another recipe app but it was not very user friendly. I love this one. It is very easy to use and especially easy to import recipes and edit.

I am thrilled with this app. I was telling my husband all the things I needed to get serious about meal planning, and then I found this app. I especially love the shopping list feature.

I was excited to use the app because it said it would sync with my computer with Windows. What it doesn’t say is that you have to make ANOTHER $4.99 purchase to get windows app to be allowed to sync. I wouldn’t have been mad if it said it somewhere other than the very last paragraph buried in the settings after you purchase the pro version.
  • Great recipe organizer

Pretty good app for keeping recipes. I love the fact you can import recipes from websites and not have To manually type it in. They do give you the ability to edit the recipes you import. The only thing I did not like is I had to buy the app for each device. It would not allow me to use the one purchase across multiple devices. I still think it is worth the money.

After much research in choosing an app like this to share with my kids that are getting into cooking and are always asking me for our family recipes that I keep stored safely in my head I come to find out after forking over the money to purchase that because Tudorspan LTD the maker of this app only offers an in app upgrade instead of a separate app purchase like other apps/companies so that you are stuck purchasing the app for all devices/family members! When asked I got a reply that it is Apples fault! If you are a single person it’s nice app but if you have a family and want to share this you best come packing money to purchase the app over and over again for every device!!
  • Not always working recipes aren't really saved

Recipes don't always save in the right category. Import process is poor
