  • Doesn’t integrate well with Pinterest

    By navmar1
I like the recipes but I save all my recipes to Pinterest and when I save NYT ones, I don’t have an image to share. Also many of the recipes seem to lack images. Seems odd for a service I’m paying for!
  • NY Times

A wonderful source of recipes; digital form makes finding recipes a snap.
  • Good recipes, dreadful search feature

    By CT amateur chef
With a very broad selection of excellent recipes, this is my go-to place for inspiration when looking for ideas. However, the search feature is abysmal. For example, a search for fish resulted in (among other things), celebration cake and gnocchi. A search for scallops produced braised Brussels sprouts. Wading through all of the irrelevant results is so frustrating that I sometimes wonder why I bother.
  • Never lets me down!

    By Chiqui's Mom
As a cookbook collector for over 50 years, I was amazed when I realized that I have never been disappointed with my choices, outcomes and the ideas which I gleaned from using the N.Y. Times Cooking app. It is always there when I need it, makes good reading, as well as it allows me to produce beautiful, healthy and delicious meals and desserts wherever I am and whatever the season. It also is a great educational tool which is right there when you need it; no more excuses not to make an intriguing recipe because it calls for a technique or an ingredient which you hadn’t attempted or used before. It describes it as well as explains it and even shows you step by step how to use it or learn to do it! I ♥️ NY (Times Cooking APP of course!!!).
  • Fun to check out each day

    By Beckcarroll
I’ve made lots of these recipes and most of them have been hits with my family. It’s nice to see a new idea each day. During the pandemic some ok’d family favorites have started to get a little tired. I sometimes have a little difficulty finding recipes that had caught my attention a few days earlier. But I’m generally very pleased with it.

  • Excellent comprehensive cooking app

    By koopmom
This is my first stop one at searching for a recipe. Most of the time it’s also my last stop.
  • Red wine cranberry sauce

Deeper, richer flavor than “regular” recipe. And so easy to make?
  • This app is my life

I use it every day, without it what would we eat?
