  • New bugs?

I’ve been using the Google Calendar app for years and it’s been mostly great. I even tried Apple Calendar a few times (because I liked that it can show the day in the icon) but kept switching back because I preferred the GCal look and features. But in the past few weeks it’s gotten buggier. 1. It occasionally (several times a week) switches to day or schedule view on its own. At first I thought I was accidentally switching it, but I’d leave the app in week view, and come back a moment later to day view. 2. It sometimes jumps around to a different year. Once I clicked the button to jump to today and it kept jumping to 2018. Another time I was creating an event and it created that event in 2018. (Doubt that’s an accident, you’d have to swipe a lot of times to move back 12 months.) There are annoying enough I’m trying out Apple Calendar yet again. There’re also minor issues with recurring events on specific days (meaning, for example, an event that happens every Monday and Friday). These aren’t new and wouldn’t stop me using GCal though.
  • Tasks??

Please add tasks to the app! It’s confusing when one thing shows up on the desktop only for it to be missing from the app version. It doesn’t make sense. Also, why isn’t it possible to rename the given calendars? On the desktop I have “Events” labeled as “Personal,” but I haven’t see a way to change the labels on the app.

Tried this today- the app sent completely different meeting times to my clients then I have on the calendar. My device time zone settings are correct, the calendar times are showing correct on the app and on my PC, but I have people emailing me now confused because it sent them requests to meet at 7pm instead of 3pm and I have to straighten all this out. Wasted time.

I'm getting ready to download it right after I finish this review lololol. I just read the first review I seen, just from that review, I already know one how I'm going to use it, two that it WILL make a huge difference in my life, and three, how serprised I am at all the functions this app is capable of, all I can say is WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! I only wish I could have found it sooner, thank you apple!! And one more thing, I'll do a follow-up review, after using it for a month or so, peace out. Oh and I would already recommend this app to everyone and anyone who wants to try and better themselves and their lives!!

there’s a really good calendar I had it for a while and is really good at helping me stay up to date. Love the background.

Day of the week/date on the (future live) tile instead of 31 That would be fantastic 👍

Why do you allow tasks on desktop and not mobile. I spent an hour transferring things into this calendar to realize I wouldn’t be able to access it on my mobile device. What a waste.
  • Amazing except for a few bugs!

I LOVE google calendars, but there are a few bugs on the mobile app that could fixed. Google Calendar often makes duplicates of recurring events for some reason. More features could also be added to make scheduling from your phone more like the desktop version. You can’t make recurring events for scheduling things like classes on the mobile app, you have to use the desktop version. Other than that it’s a great app and extremely useful!
