  • App needs desktop-like improvements

Slides works in a pinch on the iPad Pro. You can make most of the edits required for a presentation and present a deck. Google hasn’t updated the app to handle the latest iPad keyboard functionality. It has several editing and touch required bugs that hold it back from its desktop counterpart. Google should look to Affinity and Adobe who’ve built professional level apps.
  • Just use browser

I tried to use this for a school assignment and had to use my phone for it while my computer charged. It was immensely frustrating and I could hardly work due to how little this app even functions on iPhone. Do not download this on your phone, it’s a waste of storage space. It’s much easier just to use your computer

When I go to make a new slide, It doesn’t let me make a new page. Or maybe I just don’t know how to because normally there would be a little plus to make a new page. But on here, I saw the plus, but it didn’t say anything like new page or anything. If you can let me know, that will be great.
  • No control in presentation mode

I’m using this app on an iPhone 12 Pro. When you are in presentation mode, there are major problems: 1. You can’t exit presentation mode. 2. You can’t go backwards with taps. There is no keyboard. So how can you move backward? I tied tapping on the left side of the screen, but that only goes forward.
  • We need speaker notes back in the app

I have loved this app, but this update took the speaker notes capabilities out of the app. I use that regularly, and really miss it. Please add it back.

Why is there way less editing options on the app then on the website, I think this update added more editing options, but I would love it if the developer added all if not more editing option then the website to make this app a hole lot better.
  • This is sad honestly:/
