  • Customer service

For a company to not have a customer service phone number is unacceptable. I needed a quick response and I finally received an email 18 hours later. Unacceptable
  • Best digital logbook

I have been using this logbook for almost 5+ years and life is so much easier with this. Long gone is the paper book.
  • Lost All Data

I was unaware I had to save to the cloud. Flights are only saved on the device. Flights are not saved on your login within the app. It was a bummer when my IPhone wiped itself for incorrect passcode attempts and I didn’t have a backup, and I lost all the data. Unable to be recovered. Hello, APDL.

Hi, great app the only problem I have is it randomly deleted all my files, I’ve had it for a year and I go to get on and everything was gone, glad I kept records in a handwritten log book
  • Misleading

It’s taken me a few years to write this review, but somehow inadvertently opened the app I’ve had for years, and realized again how upset I am about the changes. I purchased the app a number of years ago for a “one time fee” of something I considered ridiculous at the time (I believe it was $89 or $109) but I decided to give it a try. It wasn’t a spectacular app, but worked for what I needed. I continued to use it, until after one update they wouldn’t let me back in saying it required the even more ridiculous monthly cost of over $100/year. Well great. Now I can’t even print off my new pages to update the logbook for a major airline review. Fortunately I had a version on an old phone I hadn’t updated yet, and was able to use that version to print off the months of flying I had done that I needed to print off for an interview. No heads up, nothing. If I didn’t have that non-updated phone, those hundreds of hours would have been lost unless I payed the fee. When I purchased he app initially, I was told it was a one time fee. Then - oh - let’s make more money and lock them out unless a yearly fee is paid. There should have been a grandfather right for the ones that purchased it during the one time fee purchase. I now fly for a legacy and certainly don’t pay for the subscription. Shame on Coradine for taking advantage of instructors and students like this. $20/year? Maybe. But your prices are absurd for the occasional facelift. The app functions the same as it always has.

The refresh rate is to slow and unpredictable between iPhone and laptop.
  • Used to be my app of choice

Started using Logten pro in 2013. One time payment for phone and Mac- no yearly subscription. Very nice app, excellent customer support, always there for me and bending over backwards, when I needed help with anything including customizing my logbook summary to include a DC10 flight engineer column lol. Too bad the yearly subscription now is so expensive. It’s waaaay too much in my opinion. I will just use my ForeFlight logbook which logs my flights automatically, and until I learn how it works (and that it’s reliable) simply use Excel or Numbers which will auto share between all my devices for free, though it won’t look as pretty as Logten pro. Really sad to be leaving after so many years, but it’s time to save money. Thanks for the wonderful support guys!

  • Disgusted...

...is pretty much the only word that describes how I feel about “Coradine Aviation Systems.” I am pretty sure they expected a backlash when they decided to screw people over, after taking their money (which was not a trivial amount, by the way,) on what supposed to be a one-time-fee. Well, this here is my part. It is a freaking logbook, it does not need any updates or features,... it is just a logbook! Anyway, I am done with Coradine and Logten Pro, and cheers to any suckers that are willing to pay that kind of money for a subscription... for a freaking logbook! And yes, I am one of those people who bought the LogTen Pro 6 back in 2013; haven’t used it in a while, and now that I tried to get back to it, I realized that my money is gone... Well, “fool me once,” they say... so the shame is on you Coradine!
