  • Can’t get any help: AVOID QUICKBOOKS

    By AlaskanNightWolf
Support can’t resolve error 81624 Support doesn’t document the issue Support doesn’t call back within 24 hours Support won’t help you give QuickBooks your money. 3 accounts signed up for, QuickBooks took the money and then reversed. 2 credit cards tested. 72 hours later and still not resolved. Research this problem on the forum, you’ll see others that have this issue. They are such a large company and can’t solve a simple problem to take your money for services. Contacting the Better Business Bureau as another user did... maybe that will help... currently my companies are in limbo and on hiatus without proper accounting.
  • Just when you thought things could not get worse - UPDATED. Keeps your money for weeks. Overpriced.

    By Mike VM
Below you can find my previous review and initial complaint about extended amount of time QuickBooks takes with your payments. And so on March 10, 2021 they’ve announced deposits speed increase to 1 business day for ACH staring April 12, 2021. Well, on this very day (April 12th) I’ve invoiced my client and they’ve submitted payment. Sort of as expected with QuickBooks, money didn’t get deposited to my account in 1 business day or the following. When I called customer support they told me “the update didn’t kick in at the time I’ve invoiced the client. Despite what their email said”. And I would still have to wait couple weeks (as always) to see the money. See my previous review to understand why I say “couple weeks”. Anyhow, that email also said they would add transaction fee of “1% (max $10)”. Which is also inaccurate as their representative explained it’s going to be 1% PLUS $10. So, hypothetically, if you invoice client for $5k you would pay $60 transaction fee to QuickBooks. I wish I could attach screenshot of their email. So basically we went from bad (2 weeks wait to get paid) to worth (1% plus $10 fee per transaction AND waiting time AND update problems). Previous review As hard as they trying to sell you idea of “good all around” - it’s not at all there. Firstly your monthly fees - only goes up. Think about it: you pay more for it then Netflix. Why? Why monthly fee is so high? To store your data on the server? I pay fraction of it for web site hosing. Now to what confuses me the most: if customer pays you via their ACH payment option - you are screwed. Because they keep your money for 5 FULL business day. And only after they transfer it to you bank and it takes another 2-3 business days. So you ended up getting paid 2 weeks later. How ridiculous is this? ACH takes money from payee account immediately. And god forbid you allow your customer to pay with card - the commission QuickBooks take is just ridiculous! Okay now you think - well maybe at least they got decent customer service? Hah. No. You would spend hours trying to fix the most simple issues. This app and their solution is overall bad. They keep you because you don’t want to migrate all of your data.
  • Terrible, Will get you audited

    By Yarrr1122334567
Severely over priced. It doesn’t match or categorize receipts well abs doesn’t log payments correctly. If you use this you will surely get audited !!! The self employed version is 10x better
  • Horrible User Interface

    By Woodchipper518
Mobile version is useless if you need to be productive. You need a full size screen or you going to be frustrated scrolling left and right. Like trying to work thru a keyhole.
  • Simple ease of use.

Navigating thru the app is easy, well laid out, and user friendly. It definitely helps to have QuickBooks keeping track of everything for you, and have peace of mind knowing that everything is being recorded. It takes the headache of bookkeeping completely away.
  • No INTUITive integration between various QB versions :(

    By Elijah fab
Had an Apple subscription to QB online since 2013. Worked great, UNTIL QB no longer wanted to support Apple customers in the same way, because, I guess, we were getting the same product at a great deal through an Apple autopay annual subscription. If you order something similar - QB Self-Employed - you can’t easily transfer your data between the platforms. Literally, you export out of QB Online and it only offers you Excel, and importing into QB Self-Employed only allows .csv files with dates and amounts formatted a certain way. I converted the Excel files to .csv files and 1 out of 8 loaded. Then I went on forums and saw that dates and amounts had to be formatted a particular way and only with 3-4 columns of data, meaning date, description, credit/debit for payments - no client, no memo, no check info, basically no details. In essence, they hold your data hostage unless you upgrade at 3-4 times the price. And when I looked at the reviews and rated them by date, I found that almost all of their recent ones are one star. Btw, I’ve printed my chat transcripts with them and spent at least 20 hours trying to fix this with them, so I feel I’ve been patient and loyal (actually used various QB products for about 15 years now), but this is just terribly disappointing, Caitlyn. I hope your operating team sees the fault and creates a solution for its long-time customers and really shows that Intuit cares.
  • Login is painfully laborious

    By Avg soccer fan
It shouldn’t take 3 minutes and triple authentication for a MAC id that I login with four times a week
  • Keeps crashing

    By Eliedag.Official
I downloaded this app in hopes to organize my business a little better However every time I launch it - it crashes and I find myself staring at my home screen once again I’ve sent complaints to the development team to look into this issue but it seems like the lights are on but no ones home I’ve removed and downloaded the app repeatedly but it keeps giving me the same issue and I find myself in a world of frustration rather than a word of productivity I would recommend this app but from the neglect the development team seems to be giving I highly recommend you use a different application Ooo and not to mention I actually paid for a subscription which I completely regret doing now.
  • I don’t know who would say this is ready to use

    By Retsel13
I don’t know who would say this is ready to use, I have had QuickBooks online for a month and I cannot get access. I’ve changed my password multiple times and no matter what it won’t let me log in and every time I try and get support they tell me I’m chatting with the wrong support team. You cannot get anyone on the phone and you cannot cancel your subscription I would personally tell you to stay far away from this company all they want is your money and they don’t want to provide you with any service or support to get it. I am contacting the BBB and my bank to pursue this.
  • Company more than the app

    By Zxeses
I like both the concept and for the most part the products of intuit, but the flaws are incredibly restrictive of me giving a whole hearted endorsement to my clients. The support is like able at best and destructive at worst, if you have any level of problems they are nowhere to be found, and the bugs in the end app/product stop you from doing your work.
