  • I’d call it 1seam, or 0seam

I’ve used a few password managers over approximately a decade, and none of them have been as seamless, non-intrusive, yet constantly improving as 1Password. 1Password has been my password manager of choice now for around 3 years and I regret none of it. Apple integrating 3rd Party Password Managers for iOS leveled the game up even more, and really smoothed out the missing link of secure simplicity. It’s such a night and day difference over the software I use at work out of necessity, and then coming home to 1Password.
  • Since 2016, I've never gotten my devices to SYNC!

    By liebly
I've spent countless hours reading tutorials, watching videos, yet pay for an app that has never synced between my devices: iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad Air 2, iPhone 7+. Why won't one Primary account sync? I'm not computer illiterate! Oh, and I just lost all my categories on my main computer! Just lovely. What am I paying for? Finally, after 15 emails, it SORT OF WORKS. I had to pay for a family account, even though I have months left on my personal account-just because my " family" didn't really use it, so I dropped that monthly fee. BUYER BEWARE! THERE IS NO PHONE SUPPORT --PERIOD.
  • Far Superior

1Password is far superior to any other password manager imo, especially on mobile. The GUI is excellent, auto fill is nearly perfect, and the sense of security I have with their methodologies is very high.
  • Very secure but also very complex

I recently re-activated my 1Password account. I had closed it because I could not figure out how to establish it correctly in the first place using both my laptop and smart phone. However I am impressed with the security embedded in 1Password.

  • Very Confusing

I had stand alone 1PW for years. It was a great pw manager. Now along comes this subscription and a mysterious secret code. I purchased the subscription and immediately get an email with a link to download an emergency kit that apparently contains this secret code. I don’t know for sure because nowhere do they explain this. I click on the link to download the kit and the first thing it asks is for the code! Wow, what a great bit of innovation that is! I can’t get the code unless I have the code? The whole process is confusing and the web site is one the worst I have seen. I am very unhappy. It is a shame they do business this way because they have an excellent pw manager which I really like. It just seems like they have given no thought to and no testing of their process. If they are that sloppy, then it makes me wonder how good their security really is.
  • Major problem!

Take my warning! You better write the master PW on paper and put it in a safe deposit box or risk what is happening to me with this app!!! I'm locked out of it on every device even though I HAD MY SIGN IN SET TO FACE ID ON IPHONE AND FINGERPRINT FOR IPAD PRO!!! Yet for some reason my settings were reset and I'm unable to access ANYTHING! Don't offer biometric authentication if it isn't going to work properly!!! Written passwords can be stolen in multiple ways! I chose biometric authentication for a reason! I am using this very app so I can safely store my information and the fact that my biometric authentication is turned off randomly like this gives me reason to believe my account might have been compromised! A hacker would have to turn off biometric authentication in order to gain access... Its not MORE secure to randomly turn off face id! That is a very foolish feature if that is indeed what happened! Now my account is vulnerable! I am a full stack engineer and build architect so please understand I'm not guessing randomly here. I'm confident that this is severe incompetence on the developers end. This is my fault in the end though. I always avoided these password apps because they are actually very dangerous! You are putting trust in ONE service to safely store and secure your most sensitive information and what I'm dealing with is more common than you might think! Now I must find out whether malicious software is on my network and that means days of log reports and no guarantees! Thanks onepassword!
