  • Cloud recording not work - cannot access

    I have not been able to access the cloud storage app in ages, and there is no customer support. The cameras now record for up to 30 minutes at a time, randomly, or they do not record at all. I’m having to take them all offline, as they’re using all my wifi and providing me with useless recordings. I cannot even get to where I can turn off the recording. Just spins and spins. Don’t waste your money.

  • Problems with downloading videos & time setting

    Since i am a iPad and Mac OS X user, I have had difficulties downloading the videos. Very satisfied with the camera, but not the ability to download the videos. I installed the Mac OSX application and it controls the camera satisfactory, but attempt to download it asks for a download path with the default in a PC format. Tried various entires without success. The Mac application does have a nice feature in splitting the recoding lengths optionally into 5 minute segments. Another problem is there is no SD card export application for the Mac OSX system but there is one for PCs. Inserting the SD card in the Mac shows the card as unreadable, so could not download that way. When trying to download to the iPad, it is unsuccessful. Seems as though the support is mainly for PC users. Mac users are second class citizens. There is another problem that Kamtron does not have any support contact at least not easy to find. No change as of 12/08/2021. My latest issue is having to change the time of each camera individually when daylight savings time changes. Should be one time set for all cameras on the same network.

    My device is constantly offline for no reason. Have to asset it often. Now I can't even get it to connect to the router. When I try to put my password in it says it wrong. I'm about to just cancel the darn thing and go with something different. This is my second one.
  • Don’t waste your money

    I bought them. Installed and they worked for about a week. I have separated my Wi-Fi and still these plastic bookends will not connect to router. They will be going into trash because it’s too late to send back. Buyer beware!!

    As a previous reviewer mentioned an update has ruined this app! No longer keeps more than a day of history so can’t go back to see what happened while we were gone. So disappointed. This used to be a great product. Now it is trash.

  • China Watching & Controlling Camera

    I installed 3 cameras and all video data is going to a web server in China streaming to this app. It broke all three SD Cards one day and now all camera is not connected to the internet even though my internet and power is on. It is because the Server in china is down for some reason. Chinese is watching over us via this app and camera.
  • Pretty good so far

    I would like to see a 5 or 10 second skip forward and skip back when reviewing footage on the SD card. I also don’t like the fact that the screen goes black when you manually scan forward or backwards. It would be nice to see the image as you’re scrolling like you do on a Ring doorbell.
