Make free calls with a real number on the original free calling and texting app. Pinger comes preloaded with free calling minutes that can be used to call anyone in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico. After that, minutes are free to earn or cheap to purchase. SMS messages are also free. On top of free calling and SMS, additional features include voicemail, group chat, MMS picture & video messaging, emoji, ringtones, and more. WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING “It’s like having a real phone number from the carrier. Except FREE.” –Nick “I started using this app back in 2007 on my iPod touch 3rd generation... Works every time, voice calls are clear, and no one knows it’s an app and not an actual phone. Highly recommended.” –Scott “I have used this app as my main phone number for years. It is just as reliable as an actual phone number.” –Kay “I’ve tried several, but hands down, Pinger is by far the best. Why? Simple: It works. Period.” –Tuc “I would rate this like 100,000,000 stars but can’t :/ only 5.” –Molly “Great to have a backup number especially when you travel abroad.” –Milo —— © 2020 Pinger, Inc. • Super annoying

This is probably the most annoying texting app I’ve used. My use is as a secondary/occasional number. There’s always a notification badge. There’s constantly notifications that my number is expiring. Ads all the time. Just try Google Voice unless you’re trying to do something that Google doesn’t work for…

I downloaded it a month ago and it was fine at first then it started to glitch and whenever I was on call with someone my phone would go black and it would turn back on(I could still hear the person though)I hate this app do NOT recommend!!!!
  • Request - Please Add Block Feature

    By 123life
Can you please add “Block” feature? I get zany calls and I want to block those numbers before deleting them, but I am unable to do it b/c there is no block feature. Other than that, it’s a decent app as compared to other downright crazy apps out there.

The app was working fine till a few months ago. It stopped sending new messages notifications that made me miss a lot of messages.

  • Do NOT use

I’ve had a paid subscription for the same phone number since 2012 (11 years). Last month I wasn’t getting calls or texts from my customers, but spam was certainly coming through. I reported it and it took a couple of days to resolve. I was not happy but wanted to believe it was a one-time issue. Today I learned my number was deactivated. When I contacted support they said my account was flagged for abuse because I was using a new VPN service. Nobody ever checked with me or asked to verify my ID/device if the company had concerns. Don’t trust this company/app with your business & customers!!!!

  • TextFree or Pinger Calling?

    By Moon.Vash
Hi. I am confused what is difference between TextFree App and Pinger calling, both on App store from Pinger inc, which one is better, I already have logged in with TextFree app on iPhone, is it allowed to login with same account on Pinger Calling app for testing, without my account blocked? thanks.
