It always says I have 33 emails when in reality, it’s only one new email. It’s very frustrating and makes me panic.

I hate all the notifications piled on top of my standard email notifications, I can’t tell if I was messaged, group chat or email, so most conversations are ignored. Also, you cannot share photos/screenshots/etc from other apps to direct messages, group chat in the gmail app. The Apple default is to send an email. No option to change that. Very annoying change.
  • Greedy, greedy Google.

Not only will Google sell your data to third party advertising but you can also enjoy constantly-visible ads at the top of your inbox! Not to mention spam emails that don’t get flagged by your junk inbox because of the personal data transactions I mentioned previously. Thanks Google! You’ve turned our smartphones into barely usable advertising platforms so you can get richer!

Adding a Time Of Day feature (Start time, End Time) for Vacations or Out Of Office would be a huge help.
  • Widget selection is pathetic

Make a large widget that allows me to see some of my messages. You only get one option and it’s the thin narrow one. How can you go anything with that.

I didn’t get a notification for an important email while it keeps throwing notification for all the spam emails. I am sure it is a bug. Not expected from Google. Shame!
