  • Same inbox for each email

By No, I wont enter a nicknamr
A month ago I would have given the app 5 stars, but recently it shows me the same inbox for all 3 email addresses. Even when I fully close out the app and reopen, it’s the same inbox regardless of which address I click on. Please fix this bug 😐
  • Inbox is far better

    By Nik:P
I love Google but they make silly decisions. They refuse to focus on a single messaging app or a single video chat solution, or proper task management but when they create something that's actually surpasses the original they then kill it and force people back to an interior product. Inbox should be the future of email not Gmail. Gmail is lacking in both features and UI/UX design.
  • Outdated look, missing many improvements

    By Anhdru
Gmail as an app or browser interface has always struck me as clumsy and unintuitive. Limited information about email contents in the inbox view, limited AI to sort emails and features that can only be accessed if one is willing and interested in tinkering under the hood. Google can do better, and did so with Inbox, many of whose innovative and useful features are absent in Gmail. It’s an app that continues to favour three steps to do something rather than one easy step. For ease of use, ease of seeing what email you actually have, and an aesthetics pleasing interface, Gmail fall short. I continue to find it confusing and overwhelming.

  • Unusable

There is no way to turn off message threads.
  • Multitasking on iPad?

    By B5BAR
I can run this application side by side in Android, when will you support this feature on iPad? The docs, photos, and a few other google apps work with iOS multitasking, but still no gmail.
  • No iPad Pro 11 resolution support, no swipe to snooze, Inbox is way better

    By NYCTechExec
No photo preview (which inbox has). No full screen email reading (which inbox has), no swipe to snooze (both directions are archive???) and it doesn’t even fill up my iPad screen. Not good.
  • XS Max support?

    By chronomega
Does not look good on XS Max whatsoever. Back to the stock app...
  • No trash search drives me nuts

    By Heyheyheyheyo
This would get a five if searching through your trash worked like the browser version!!
  • No longer optimized for sending attachments

    By crumbtrail
You no longer have access to Google photos or albums other than the iPhone Moments album. Pretty big setback.
