It looks like SEVERAL people who have written a review about this app, share the same opinions about the overabundance of advertisements, the ridiculous amount of money it costs to even unlock songs, so you can actually use this app, and finally, the whole VIP membership thing; Smule is ALREADY doing everything they can to get you to spend money on this app, you basically have a "free trial" game, unless you decide to spend real world money on dumb coins to buy one, two songs maybe?- So in order to really play this game (and I must say this game IS a lot of fun once you find a way to simply bypass all of the ads and such) you must pay for either, coins, or go for the VIP membership. If the developer of this app happens to read this, I want you to know that deep down under all the ads and almost required in-app purchases, this is an incredibly fun game. It's like guitar hero but better because you can compose your favorite songs!

When I used to have this game, I loved it. My twin cousin accidentally deleted it, and I did not notice until like, 5 months later ( I'm not very observant). Well, I got Smule Magic Piano again, and I played it. It was fun, and I really liked the updated version of the app. Then a couple of days later, the game wouldn't let me in. I was stuck on the logo screen, the one with the piano, and I thought,"Hey, my iPad is kinda slow, it's probably buffering." So I exited out of the game and I played some thing else. A few days later, the same scenario, and it happens again and again and again. The game won't let me in! I doubt it's my iPad, because my iPad hasn't been slow lately, and I tried Smule again today before I wrote this review, and surprise, surprise! AGAIN, IT DIDN'T LET ME IN!!!!! Why? I used to really love this game, and now I can't even play it! I've literally played this game once.

I used to have this game and I adored it. I re-downloaded it and now there’s just too many ads. You can’t even really play the game there’s so many Every little thing you do an ad pops up. I get why you’re doing this- you want people to pay for an ad free membership. But spoiler alert- you’re actually annoying people so much they’re just leaving the app instead of paying for it.
  • All money no play - Deleting the app

I bought this game when I got my first phone at around 13. I used to play it so frequently and then deleted it when I got a new one. I recently re-downloaded the app and had gained smule coins by playing songs and leveling up. I saved up the smule coins and bought some songs I really wanted. I open the app a week later and it says I know longer have the ability to play that song and I either need to subscribe or buy it again. I do not have enough smule coins to buy anymore which the app then showed me the store to buy more coins. This is ridiculous. The game never used to be like this. They don’t need this much money. How am I supposed to relax when I can’t eve play the songs I want for no longer than a week? I paid for it with my well earned smule coins!! I am deleting this app an never buying it again.

So I was playing hard trying to get three stars and Amazing Grace, but every time I did a four fingered note it would pause it, and I was no where near the pause button. You guys really need to fix this glitch/problem in your piano game.
  • Scamming App

Wanted to try the app. Downloaded and started a free trial. Found out the app started a subscription charging me almost 11 bucks a week. Nothing in the app about a current subscription or how to cancel. That is borderline fraudulent. Not to mention the app was not entertaining for the 5-10 minutes I played with it.
