    Uber is a great service and the few times I’ve used it, I had good experiences. However this last time I was almost late to my destination because the driver couldn’t tell I was waiting for him inside a walled apartment complex. The Uber app had him driving all over a subdivision behind the complex because according to the map, it was the closest way...but he was a mile from me and not getting any closer. The driver said the app told him to cancel the ride because of the delay but my texts assured him I was still waiting. A satellite view of the area would have prevented this. Still a satisfied customer though.

    Recently downloaded the Uber app to my iPhone and tried to catch a ride in Saint Louis. I was not informed that charges would automatically be withdrawn from my checking account. Never used Uber prior to this trip. I was without cash on me so had driver take me to ATM to get cash in order to pay driver. I gave driver 10.00 cash and thanked him for being so kind. I was additionally debited in my checking account twice from Uber for the same trip I gave the driver cash for. The driver was pretty sketchy in this respect as he understood how Uber works and took advantage of my lack of experience with the service. I paid double for a two minute drive! Not good business Uber 👎

    Not only was I charged extra because the driver got lost trying to find me, my card was also charged for 2 trips on that same ride.

    Was going to put 5 stars but I recently have been using Uber for 3 months now mon-fri due to my car situation and a new job. I normally pay anywhere between $24-27 for a ride to work. Today however Uber decided to say my ride will be $67 and honestly that’s super high I had to be late to work to wait until that price changed. I refuse to ride lyft because of the experience I had with a driver I don’t want to have to try to find another ride service but Uber needs price stabilization or I’m not riding anymore.
  • Worst customer service on the planet

    Uber customer support is the absolute pits and the app is structured too poorly for helping customers. EVERY help request is met with the same stock text pasted with no perusal of the customer’s problems. It’s like dealing with a bunch of illiterates.
