  • Uber Pool walk option

    who ever thought that was a great idea needs to be fired. People use Uber because it’s economical. Your customers already have to deal with picking up and dropping off others which is time consuming. Now in order to save we have to pick up others and walk to a near by spot, blocks away. Some states aren’t sunny year around. Some of us will have to deal with snow and other bad weather. Uber is suppose to a convenience not a hassle. I won’t be using Uber any more. I suggest others to do use Uber and boycott this option. There’s no extra saving for walking. It’s an extra hassle. Being that you have to already pool with others.

    I recently placed an Uber and first the driver told me he was stuck in traffic, but then no one ever came and picked me up, and they charged my card! I tried to get in contact with someone and it was the most difficult process to try to get help with my situation! I ended up having to order another Uber and I was extremely late for work because of their mishap! They need to figure out some way to offer support to their passengers because this is ridiculous!

    Trip somehow got cancelled on route to my destination and I got charged a cancellation fee. I went on to review/dispute it and I was refunded instantly. Weird that it even happened in the first place but it was resolved nonetheless.
  • Want better cars

    I love using UBER, but real tired of getting cars that are dirty and smell like ciggarette smoke. Also tired of paying extra for larger SUV amd getting a mini van with lids stickers on the windows smelling like tons of terrible airfresheners. I want an option to choose non smoking cars for my rides as well as being able to choose which larger/luxury vehicle I would like. I do not want beat up mini vans.

    Uber is a love/hate relationship. Love it when it works, hate it for various reasons depending on my location. It got to be so expensive in Orange County, California to go to and from the airport that now I just rent a car when there. In Mexico, 2 out of 10 Uber drivers that I call accept my fare, and then they just hang out in their same location until out of frustration I cancel, or when they realize I’m not going to cancel, start driving to my pick up location 15 or more minutes later. (And I am accounting for and very familiar with traffic in CDMX). ***The customer needs a way to cancel without being charged if it is obvious that the driver is not moving and it isn’t due to traffic. Likewise, if the driver becomes ensnarled in stopped traffic, they should be able to cancel without being charged and the fare notified so a new driver can be located —at NO additional cost to the customer. Uber needs to DISCONTINUE SERVICE TO AND FROM MAZ / MAZATLAN AIRPORT!!!! Uber drivers do not want to take you or pick you up. Currently there is only ONE taxi company that is allowed to pick you up and take you to your destination. This is heavily monitored. I have had Uber drivers pick me up and then tell me that the airport is a big problem. One driver had me change seats and drive the last mile to the airport where I said goodbye to him like he was an uncle dropping me off. The other driver I ended up cancelling because after a long wait (trying to get me to cancel?), he arrived and seemed to be really high. When he found out I was going to the airport, he said it was a problem but agreed to go. After the way he was driving just in my subdivision, I did not feel safe at all. I told him to stop so I could get out and ended up having the security guard hail me a cab. ***The Uber app needs a way to report a destination as not being Uber accessible and/or friendly. I’m sure there are other descriptors that could be added to this category. ***Lastly, like many other people have described—there needs to be an easier way to find a contact number or email address to communicate with Uber when one needs to voice an issue, critique, compliment or complaint that goes beyond the ordinary.

  • Express Pool Is not so “Express”

    My car kept rerouting to get to me and adding numerous riders who were already near me, but the driver kept skipping me. The car on the map is no longer accurate, I cannot see where my driver is. Failed Express means I have to take a pool, and I’m trying to save money. Please fix this Uber. I don’t want to use Lyft.

  • GPS and location services needs to be fixed

    Since the new update, there has been a process to get an Uber pool. It involves meeting your Uber at a determined location, this is very good and an excellent way to mainstream the process and make it more efficient. But unfortunately the AI in control of matching the rider with the Uber seems to be based on distance away from the rider instead of actual logistics. This is a problem for me since my pickup spots are always near an highway/expressway on street level (BQE in NYC) and the Ubers that are matched to me are always traveling on said expressway instead of on the side streets. Because of this, I've been matched with multiple Ubers that are traveling on the expressway and who's nearest exit is 30 minutes away. Due to this fact I couldn't even cancel the Uber since I would be charged a 5 dollar fee for due to the driver having to drive past me. This leaves me with 3 options either take the 5 dollar fee and call another Uber or to call the driver and ask them to cancel the pick-up. Wait an extra half-hour for an uber. The 2nd option is often met with hostility with some drivers, and the 3rd option is just not feasible due to the driver having to drive back and then drop you off adding an extra hour to the commute. Please take a look at this problem as it is extremely frustrating to book an Uber only to be late and frustrated at the process.
