  • No cards since update

    By Emilia1994
I enjoyed having the news feed/ cards on my google and since an update they just disappeared altogether. Which is a shame because I liked getting news stories from there. I know I didn’t do anything to make them go away and now I have no idea or no way to get them to come back. Please fix. And if they come back please make it easier to get rid of cards and make so that if you get rid of, it doesn’t come back if you re open google. Also I hate the update to the images section. It’s awful and needs to go back to the way it used to or at least make it easier to zoom on an image instead of having to double tap it.

i liked it at first but then it just got annoying with all the stories and spoilers, if you want a better search engine (still google and better design) use chrome

  • My interest

    By VAGemini84
I’m so happy you guys brought back the option of taking a picture and google tells me what it is, but now google won’t identify songs for me. The latest version is also bad about giving spoilers and not paying attention to my interest. No matter how many times I tell it I’m not interested in something/one it just keeps posting stories. I have an iPhone for the first time ever and I prefer the app on Samsung phones.
  • Revert

    By edub420711
I use this app often and the image update just needs to be reverted. The new controls attempt to be more sensitive/fluid but end up being clunky, just plain unnecessary. Also, the search history is hard to find, and looking for it will send you through countless other pages and settings lists.
  • Great app but...

    By Ronald bo bonald
When the top search result is a location and you click on the map it doesn’t actually take you to the location. I’ve had this app for a couple years and that feature has never actually worked for me. It does bring me to the map but the location it shows is my current location.

  • Discovery is as bad as it can be

    By lihrcig
The google app has two main features: • Google search: this is redundant with the search available in browser apps • Discovery: a selection of news stories and web content supposedly tuned to the user’s interest. I won’t comment on Google search because it is the same basic search tool that I usually use from the browser. As the browser app has an important additional function the Google search app would be plain redundant it it was only for the search feature. Discovery has stopped working and this is the point where I am deleting the app. Before that, Discovery used to select cards that were mostly irrelevant to my interests (e.g. game of throne, celebrities, football and other very mainstream topics that are thrown into everyone’s face all the time from pretty much anywhere). Even though each card has a more/less switch to tune Discovery to an adequate selection of cards, it really doesn’t work at all and that’s to the point of being infuriating: clicking “less” makes the card vanish but only until the next refresh.
  • Shame on Google

    By Jay112323
In a leaked audio, Google discussing steering the conservative movement way from nationalism. Shame on Google. Switch to Bing. Google should be broken up. UPDATE: Further reports of left-wing bias emerge at Google, cracking down on right-wing staff. But don’t Google it... Bing it.
