Any app that makes it this difficult to uninstall (and you will) must be spy ware. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself. After an hour or so of trying to uninstall you'll wish you listend.
  • excelente app

muy util esta app aunque me gustaria que la version gratis tuviese algunas mas opciones
  • Good start, but needs to support dark mode

This is a nice app, and I'm ready to pay $2.99 for the full version, except for one *big* problem: no support for changing the color of the menu bar item. I'd like to be able to color it green for up, red for down. But at least make it support dark mode!
  • A great little utility

Instantly lets me know my ethernet connection hasn’t (or has!) dropped out again. I don’t know why it happens, but the only thing worse is to run on WiFi speeds for hours without realizing it. Ethernet Status keeps that from happening.
  • Great PRoduct

I really like how it works, can see all ips on en0 and wifi to check network path good job!!
  • Beter named “Internet Status"

    By Pizzamoochin
I need to know if my Macbook without built in ethernet port can “see” the ethernet adapter and the ethernet cable plugged in and the speed of the ethernet, regardless of available internet. The title should be "Internet Status” because that’s the intended result in the “How to Use” drop down. It does NOT differentiate between Wi-Fi or Ethernet. My Wi-Fi is turned off. I need to use only Ethernet on my network. IF my cable is plugged in, the application doesn’t know or care if I’m using wi-fi or ethernet. It just detects the internet.
  • You said you had one job ...

I live with lots of lightning. Lots. I have to unplug things when it gets bad or risk losing them (been there, done that). I have a network adapter for ethernet in my office that is unplggued along with the server and other equipment. When the storms pass, I don't always remember to turn on the ethernet adapter. "So," I thinks to myself, "what you need is a status icon that will show when *ethernet* is not connected." Seems simple enough. Search for it in the App store and find Ethernet Status. Tried free version and well, it doesn't do the one thing it says it does, not exactly. It shows whether your connected to *anything* and have access. I could pay to get the upgraded version but that requires I click on the status icon to determine wht I am connected to, but I just want an icon that shows whether I am connected to ethernet or not. Nothing else. No extra steps. That's it. This app should be named Network Status Lite. With that said, it seemed to do the intended, if misnomered, job adequately (tested by unplugging ethernet cable at the machine). I might have gone to 4 stars if the name had matched the behavior more closely.
  • Too pricy for what it is.

I guess it does what it says but it’s inconvenient. You should be able to tear off the drop-down menu so it sits on the desktop in a mini view, depending on what you want to monitor.
  • I can't open it

I downloaded this on my iMac using Mojave and can't open it. I have tried many many times and it just won't open.
