  • Goes offline when iPhone screen times out

    App works but on iPhone 11, all os versions Mitel will go offline once iPhone screen times out. Calls to phone ring as cellular (keep WiFi on is enabled) instead of on Mitel. Not able to transfer calls when not on Mitel network.

    Whatever you do- do not use Mitel. This app doesn’t work ever- all calls look like a normal cell call but regardless of the number it looks like the main number at my office is calling. Doesn’t even identify an inter-office call. These folks are straight up liars and cheats. They promised many things and delivered on zero. They still use dial 9 to get an outside line. This app doesn’t work. The desk phones look pretty but do not work well. Do not believe anything they tell you. They will promise you that the dial 9 to get an outside line is being fixed and it’s not. This app doesn’t work at all. All looks good in the demo but fails IRL. Worst phone provider in my 30 year IT career. Don’t do it.

    This app has never worked well. One of the biggest issues is the fact that it quits in the background. But since the most recent update, it is crashing like crazy and is useless.

    I am going on day 38 of this app not working throughout my organization. It will not make a TLS connection. We integrated this feature in March and it has worked a grand total of three weeks since then. Our vendor is a partner with Mitel and has escalated our case to “tier 3” with Mitel which has to be a joke because the last suggestion we got from Mitel engineers is to make sure the phones aren’t in low power mode! I am beyond frustrated. I wish I could go back in time and never integrate this piece of garbage into our phone system.

    I can’t give it 1 star because it does function sometimes but it doesn’t deserve much more. This app is pretty bad. You’ll get phone calls pushed to your cell instead of the app. The app itself will have awful response times and provide phantom rings (physical phone stops ringing but app rings for like 10 more seconds). The app forgets how to control functions like placing a call on speaker. I’ve had users request taking home physical phones rather than deal with the app. Functionality is there, reliability is not.

    Mitel support said doesn’t support iPhone 12 Pro. This is supposed to be an “enterprise” solution?? Calls ring thru cell phone instead of Mitel app.

    Disconnects when app is in the background and brought back to the foreground, it’s unable to reconnect either over wifi or cell data. Force closing the app and reopening often restores the connection but all the time. Please fix on your next build release.
