  • Don’t cut the cable!

    By Kboonekj
For $50 a month you won’t get near what Charter Spectrum (or your own cable network) gives you. Yes you get “free DVR” but you have to schedule it before hand. There is limited On Demand because of that. Most network shows are available for free by the time that YT let’s you watch them. Tried cutting the cable but cable is actually where it’s at.
  • Crashes too much!

    By Deebuwo
I believe I was one of the first subscribers in my area. The app worked flawlessly, but not anymore. When watching recordings, the program regularly stops after 40 minutes regardless of program watched. The program then starts from the beginning. I have to restart my phone to continue watching from the interrupted part. Now when watching a show that is recording and if I don’t catch it from the beginning and ask the app to display it from the beginning, the show repeatedly starts over from the beginning on its own while I’m watching. It is extremely frustrating! My price is scheduled to increase to add more channels I don’t care to watch while the channels I inquired about having added haven’t been added and there is no communication about if they will be added. It seems like soon after I recommended the service and app, the reliability tanked. I’m not going to pay more for worse and not getting what I want. I use an iphone 8S plus with the most updated ios.
  • Please Add NHL Network

For us big time hockey fans this would put the icing on the cake. Love my service so far and only had it for a month. Cable is going bye bye bye. Definitely recommend this to friends and family.
  • Skipping Backwards?!

    By funnyworld
This app used to run so smooth. Now they raise the price and update the app. What do I get? This constant backwards skipping from live video back anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. FIX IT!!!
  • Potentially good, serious issues

One of the things I actually appreciated about Comcast was that if there was an outage, they were good about giving back money. All retention right? If you subscribe through Apple you can forget about that as they don’t talk to each other. This is one of the many customer service frustrations that finally got me to cancel. The app also doesn’t play well with Apple TV, has frequent glitches and slowdowns, I had issues with accessing my recordings. Potentially a killer but not ready for prime time.
  • Pros and cons

    By Rainegear
Pros-a good number of channels, including local channels; priced affordably; can share with up to 6 family members. Cons-a glitch where programming freezes 3/4 of the way through then stops and restarts at the beginning of the show on its own; no closed caption option on mobile device; recent $10 price increase without adding anything substantial or fixing the aforementioned cons.
  • Won't let me do anything

    By krollgirl
I didn't want to subscribe to that cable free thing because I didn't want to spend money and I wanted to go to the home thing and watch TV but it wouldn't let me

  • I saw an ad, yesterday, saying...

    By Ontir
...TLC, HGTV, etc... were available; but I can't get them. My app is up to date. When will they be available?
  • Not perfect yet but getting better

The last update has addressed many issues. Still waiting for: - a simpler way to see programming listings for channels (a quick guide view would be helpful) - the ability to go back and forth from the Apple Watch by at least 30 seconds (for pre-recorded content it would be helpful to be able to skip or rewind content from the watch)
