Thanks for shutting down the only thing helping my grandmother stop some of the unending scammers!! She has an older iPhone that won’t upgrade to iOS 13+ for the new app. Thanks for screwing us over and killing the functional old app without consideration that many elderly people are on older phones and cannot afford to upgrade!

others such as my doctor can't reach me. before they forced the "upgrade" on us, the original spam call blocker worked flawlessly. but this junk? i'm a freelance designer and artist. how many calls have i missed? how many opportunities? how much money? called support. after two hours and multiple reps transferring me, i was told there was nothing they could do. well i know what to do; delete this piece of crap program, install robokiller and call my attorney. oh yeah, and at&t gives to the campaigns of the seditionist traitors who tried to overturn the election and overthrow our government by taking our right to have our votes matter. at&t supports fascists. time to move on.
  • App is dead, still charges subscription

Have to rejoin every update I’m not paying for a useless app. And if it’s deliberately useless crippleware, I’m still not paying you because of this sham of a FREE* app that you’ve dumped on the world Still misses all the robocalls, because they’re spoofed CallerID numbers. The only option is to Block the number, which is generally pointless as the scammers are not likely to use it again. ATT can tell it’s spoofed at their end, but they don’t care, because they’re getting paid. We all know ATT tracks this so they can get paid. There’s no way ATT is letting BILLIONS of calls go through their network without getting paid. UPDATE: ATT Call Protect caught the number even though it was spoofed as Unknown name and Unknown number! Unfortunately it’s part of an ATT-sponsored Affiliate Program, so ATT IS ACTUALLY PAYING THESE SCAMMERS! They have the number for the robocaller farm, and the ESL computer-simulated voice provides a callback number for the Affiliate, but ATT REFUSES TO SHUT THEM DOWN! Billions of calls every year translates to millions of dollars for ATT, and you know they’re not letting that much unbilled revenue slip by them! They’re not only allowing Affiliates to break their own program rules, but they’re paying them to do it, because they love the per call fees! I guess they’d rather waste money on phony 5* reviews. They look expensive, too. They even try to dismiss a few of the common complaints (a huge hint that they’re phony reviews) UPDATE: you’ve added my FATHER to the BLOCKED LIST and listed him as a severe threat UPDATE: now with active armor… except active armor is another app, and this app is completely shutdown… but you’ll have to cancel your subscription manually with Apple

I’ve used Call Protect for years but it’s now saying it needs this new app instead and whenI try to switch over the new app says it cannot authenticate my account. When I tried calling ATT about it the rep questioned why 8 even wanted it and suggested I use my iPhone native call screening

I’d give it zero stars if possible. This app does little to protect spam calls and nothing to stop spoofing. Waste of $3.99/month. It has been extremely efficient at blocking business calls I need to receive.
