It’s Just Like Having a Tour Guide in Your Car™ WHAT TO EXPECT: America’s first National Park – Yellowstone, continues to awe visitors with amazing geothermal features; geysers, boiling mud, fumaroles and hot springs are abundant throughout the park, as well as spectacular mountains, lakes, canyons and rivers. It is also home to a diverse range of wildlife including grizzly bears, bison, wolves, elk and pronghorn. Grand Teton National Park serene beauty is a fantastic contrast to the volatility of Yellowstone. With perhaps even better wildlife spotting opportunities and fewer visitors vying for that perfect image. As we drive the Grand Loop Drive, you’ll appreciate the geology 101 recap to better understand the popular geothermal wonders like Old Faithful in the Upper Geyser Basin and Grand Prismatic Spring in the Midway Geyser Basin, while we reveal some lessor visited areas, that are equally stunning. See why it’s considered a megafauna location with the largest concentration of mammals in the lower 48 and uncover the story behind how a tiny Yellowstone bacterium helps solves crimes. And visit the historical remnants of the pioneering settlers on their forge West and the visit the location of one of the most popular images help to promote the Park. Along with many other stories, tips and directions that will help refine and enhance your Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park experience. WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Some of the highlights along the route include; • Old Faithful and the Upper Geyser Basin • Grand Prismatic Spring • Mud Volcano and Sulphur Cauldron • The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone • West Thumb • Tower Fall • Mammoth Hot Springs • Fountain Paint Port • Grand Tetons • Jenny Lake • Elk Refuge • Tower Fall • Mammoth Hot Springs • Fountain Paint Port BATTERY USAGE: ++ Continued use of GPS/Location Services in the background increases battery usage. We strongly recommend taking a cigarette style (DC outlet) car charger. Avoid using a direct connection to the USB port of a rental vehicle. IPADS: ** iPad models must include a GPS chip. Please note that Apple only install these on the iPad Wifi + Cellular models. Wifi only iPad models have limited location service capabilities and are unable to play commentary automatically. DOWNLOADING: The apps are larger in size in order to work offline. You must be on wifi to download as the store may block the download over cellular networks. • Awesome App

We have just finished our trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. This app was so helpful and informative. We would have missed some very special sites. Thanks so much.
  • An absolute must if you are touring National Parks

    By Ptcyclist
This was an amazing help to us as we drove through Yellowstone and the Tetons. It was better than having a personal tour guide in the back seat. We learned both the history and what to look for around every turn. I cannot say enough good things about this app.It is worth many times the cost.
  • Five Stars! Made our trip amazing!

    By wowzarah
We would have missed out on several incredibly amazing park features without the Gypsy guide!! We learned so much more than we would have otherwise!!! Can’t wait to go on another Gypsy guided tour.
  • Don’t go without it!!!

We took the gypsy tour in August 2019 to Yellowstone and the Tetons. It was like having your own private guide right in your car with you!!! The information, the history, and the suggestions that we got made the trip so much more valuable than we could have imagined!! You have the opportunity to listen whenever you want to. We followed the suggestions along the way. It was like taking an in depth course right from your car. Our 11 year old was with us and he LOVED THE GUIDE!! If you plan to go use it for a very special experience!!!
  • Must Buy

Just came back from Yellowstone and Grand Teton and this app came in very very handy. We were there for a week and played it every day while driving and It was honestly like we were in a personal guided tour. It knows where you are along the way and tells you where to stop and fun facts along the way. Without it we would’ve definitely missed a lot of spots we wouldn’t have even thought of stopping in ( a lot of little gems) - but because of it we stopped in a lot places and saw a lot of places and we are very happy we did. Honestly worth every penny. Will definitely be buying the other guided tours as we love visiting national parks.
  • Extremely disappointed, didn’t work at all

    By Mowliv
I am a distaste engineering executive and was unable to get this to work at all on my iPad or iPhone. Wondering if this is a scam because not once did it play any tour information or recognize where I was or do anything useful in any way. Hard to imagine that all these positive reviews are legit, in spite of the developer trying to claim otherwise.
  • Review on Gypse Gyser

By Rick Lee from Payson Utah
This is the best way to tour Yellowstone and the Tetons. The information is fantastic and the suggested spots for visiting are extremely helpful. We had most of our family using this app and we all agree that this is the best way to visit Yellowstone
  • So informative!

    By tnm912
I’ve never taken the time to rate an app but as my husband said “best money we spent on our trip”. My 2 boys (12 & 8) were fascinated with the stories. We nicknamed the voice and the first thing they asked in the morning was “can we listen to Bob”. We visited over fall break so we talked about how they learned new geography, vocabulary, history, and math all from this app. As we ended our vacation and starting our 22 hour drive home, my oldest said he wished that the app would work all the way home and talk about things we pass.
  • Made the most of a short trip.

Used this on our honeymoon. However due to snow, we had limited time in Yellowstone. This app was absolutely perfect in making sure we hit the highlights. And we are now staunch fans of GyPSy guides and will use them for every trip we can that they offer a guide for!!
