    Great app.

I tried this app for a while and found it to be full featured but not intuitive and sometimes a little buggy. I was going to try it again today, I really would love the app to work. Then I read some of the developer responses to customer reviews. Your approach is basically to call your customers a liar. This app will never make it onto my devices again.
  • Longtime user

Been a user since Informant 3. Finest and most powerful calendar app, and with a first class support team. I’m still discovering all I5 can do to simplify my life.
  • What Happened? Horrible! Buyer Beware

    By Annelieseteresa
After making what was portrayed to be a “one time” purchase years ago that included all the features that are offered in the current version, I open the app to find that only the calendar is now working. After writing to support, I find that I need to re-buy the features that I owned before as part of an “upgrade”. I am then told that if I hadn’t installed the upgrade that I could have used the old version, but since I bought a new iPad and installed my paid app, I now owe $25 all over again. In my opinion they took advantage of long standing customers to make a money grab - pure and simple. Customer support told me that there is nothing that can be done! Beware of going with this company because some day you will turn on your app and realize that they are re-selling you the same stuff all over again. I will never trust this company again, and am deleting the app.

  • I Keep Coming Back!

    By Big Hoss 7
There’s a reason why I continuously come back to this amazing app! No other app out there offers this set of features as beautifully and seamlessly as Informant 5! The only thing that I would add is the ability to send links to websites/videos/emails directly to the app via Safari and other email applications. I use Spark for email and it would be great to be able to send emails from there as tasks.
  • Disappointed

    By Matt-Mr.Clean7777
Wow, all I can say is read the replies to customer reviews. They don’t listen, they defend! Rather be right than deal with issues. Lot of words rather than handling customer feedback. Also, you do not “own it” as stated. When you stop paying sync you lose access to your data, without access you have no data. Lies and half truths is what you can expect. Unfortunately this one time best app has fallen dramatically. They have resorted to scamming their clients. Be careful what you chose cause it’s set up to be an “Own it” product but that’s just a trick to trap you into a yearly subscription. Quite devious. Very disappointing, if you’ve paid all along from the beginning of this group as I have, you find they have just been playing you. Payed for 9 years more! To make it more insulting, they blame Apple and hide rather than service. This is where companies fall, it’s very sad. They could have been literally great.
  • Not enough to judge

    By JCTX2010
Downloaded the free version to try it out. But there are no settings, no help documents. Every time I click on an icon I get a message to buy it. Why would I pay if I can’t even see what it does? Disappointed.
  • Better than most.

  • Crap company Finally done & switching to google

    By JeffK91914
They REMOVE features of previous versions that I paid for in updates. This is done to force people to upgrade to their subscription model. I have used pocket informant for over 10 years. I started with an app on an old organizer. I am sick of the money grab by the company. So I have bought the app every time they upgraded. I figured about $10 every year or two was ok. Then they went to bundles and add ons. Ok $5. Each or $15 for them all. I never wanted their subscription to sync with their servers. I guess that a lot of other people felt the same way. So not they updated to this new version where the only option it the subscription. I still have version on my phone. But how long with this work? I don’t trust them. I will be switching to google calendar. I don’t like it as much as informant but I will adjust cause I don’t trust this company one bit. I am now using google calendar. Not a huge fan but it is free. No more of this shady piece of garbage company. I wrote them an email once and their response is condescending and unhelpful.
