    Decades long subscriber w AT&T cell, fiber, & the Apple TV AT&T TV app. THE AT&T TV APP IS SOOOO BUGGY! My data is strong over WiFi, but ran a hardline to my Apple TV and the AT&T TV is still giving the spinning circle of nothing, no stream available msg, or it is stuck loading the basic blue screen. Netflix.. no problem, Hulu np, Disney+ np, HBO Max np, Amazon Prime no. What gives? It doesn’t matter what time of day either. 3 AM when the stock pre- market opens, garbage signal. All throughout the day, garbage signal with delays, lags, loss of signal. It’s not just because of the pandemic either. It’s been like this from day one. That’s well over 16 months now. I never had these issues with the DirecTV app or the Sling app. I mean, loss of TV signal means little to nothing compared to the huge loss of lives, jobs, and businesses in America due to Covid-19. Nevertheless, these drops in service, over the year+ , are pretty unacceptable. Am I to send you a “spinning circle of payment” to you in response? I highly doubt that would be acceptable to you. It’s well past time to get your act together.

    This app is trash. Not sure what I am paying for considering I can never use this app in the ways I should be able to. Casting is always a problem. It won’t let me cast or airplay content that’s been recorded which means I’m stuck watching it on my MacBook. Also, when the recorded content won’t cast/airplay onto my very new VIZIO, it glitches and won’t play on my iPhone’s AT&T TV NOW app. It’s not TV Now. It’s never TV Now. It’s more like TV Whenever We Get It Together. And it’s never together. The iPhone app doesn’t even left me change payment methods. This is a very clunky and technically debilitating iPhone app. I plan to cancel my subscription.

    what i like about the app, it that i’m able to watch stuff on like on demand. what i hate is that if i get a call in the middle of watching, the app will either 1. stop my show completely without a way to resume my show 2. restart the app as if i were just to open it, and play the episode that i previously finished and watched and will just start playing i always am having to restart my episode and skip to where i think i am, and i get a long ass commercial. i got a low power mode notif and it did the same thing! stopped the current show so now i have to fast forward it to where i was again. yes it’s a little thing but it’s extremely annoying. somebody do something about it

    PLEASE add a dark mode. This is standard on iOS these days. Please add better support for pausing live TV. This is tankard across all DVR’s for the past 20 years, but ATT TV does not let me pause live tv consistently or properly. I can pause, but only if I want to miss everything from where I pause going forward. That’s just insanely stupid. Otherwise, I’m really liking the service. Great channel lineup for $65.

    I have been a customer of ATT TV now since the very beginning when they use to be direct TV now, honestly I don’t know what’s going on with this app on Apple TV but it’s just not working it’s giving an error every 10 or 15 min and have to restart the app all the time, can we look in to this problem ( error code 30001-003 ). This it’s the only app that doesn’t support the easy menu from the to slide down to change the audio inputs or airplay menu, subtitles etc. don’t going to continue paying for something that isn’t working.

    This app gets many things right and has a nice, logical interface. But... I would expect fewer bugs at this stage of the maturity cycle. For example, if my Apple TV has gone to sleep with this app loaded, it will not restart when waking back up. It often hangs before getting to any usable screen. Unloading the app (by starting some other app) and then restarting sometimes gets it to work, but sometimes I have to restart the Apple TV. Another example... the guide often refuses to load. I don’t have these kinds of problems with any other apps.

    I formerly had u-verse. It was fine. But with new technology and personal preferences as well as pricing model, we switched. Now I deal with freezes, won’t open/start up, buffering issues. I’ve purchased two wireless meshes as well as increased speed. Hasn’t helped. If you don’t have to switch, don’t. I would not recommend this service.
  • please add chromecast support for DVR

    Like a majority of people I like to record my favorite shows and watch at a later time. However dvr shows don’t work with chromecast still, and it’s become increasingly frustrating. Why do regular streaming and videos work but not recorded video.....please fix!!
