Why hasn’t this app been shut down? This is complete scam. Hey Apple why do you allow cash games run through telegram to run? Gambling through the App Store? Unregulated?? This is fake and I believe has the Admins at 80 percent of the tables

  • Great App. But has its issues

    By tywvop
The app is great. I would like to start there first. The look, the feel, the ability to have clubs, etc. One glaring issue, which is a common issue from looking at reviews and within the clubs, are the ridiculously high percentage of outs that are hit on the River. It makes it very difficult to simulate “real play” when 4% outs are hitting at 15%. This app has been marketed as “For Poker Lovers by Poker Lovers” but anyone that has played poker for a sustained amount of time will notice the insane amount of bad beats, low percent runout hits, consistent repetition of cards on the board. Yes I know you are GLI certified, but I assure you if you look at your product and simply run the percentages you will see these runouts described above happen at an alarming rate.

  • Best Poker App

    By Mike Melatti
Best online poker app. The ability to create your own clubs and play poker privately between friends and acquaintances is genius. This app takes a dump on the others.

I've played a little over 20,000 hands in a private club using PPPoker. I actually like the app, itself. Compared to the standard landscape orientation of most poker apps, it's nice to be able to hold your phone in a natural, one-handed position while you play. The interface is well-designed. The issue I have is with the "randomization" of the cards in cash games. Let me first say, I've been keeping track of every (live) cash game session I've played for the last 3+ years. I even played "professionally" in Vegas for almost a year during that time. I played more than 1000 hours at Caesars Palace, alone. I average about a 200 buy in, usually playing 1/2, and am up a little over 40k since early 2015. All this to say, I am no stranger to extended downswings (and up) and variance . Now getting to the point...as I said, I have played more than 20,000 hands on the app (which, in live poker, would equate to about 600-700 hours of play @ about 30 hands/hr). In the big scheme, this isn't a TON of hands, yes...but it's enough to draw some conclusions about my progress. First, I will say that my tournament performance is on par with what I've been able to produce in live tourneys these past few years, as far as chances of finishing in the money and return on investment. 36% cash rate, and 82% ROI. I've only played 41 tourneys on the app, which again is a very small sample. Tourneys play out a lot like the ideal cash game, for me: mostly tight player, with a low VPIP. Patience and discipline usually produces decent results, especially over time. My problem is with the cash games and the randomization of the cards. There are some days/games where players will be very loose, and of course, more variance is expected in these situations. I try to avoid those tables for the most part, and try to pick games that appear to have lower average pot size and lower opening bets. This has mostly been my strategy for years. I will say also that even though my live buy-in is an average of about 200, I average maybe a 60 buy-in online, playing .50/1. I understand that buying in nearer to the minimum makes for a tougher experience earning money and that more variance is to be expected. But again, this has been my successful strategy for years now. Another thing to note is that 95% of the games are short-handed (I usually play full-ring)...and there is yet more variance to be expected with a short stack, as there are less hands to make an orbit around the table before you pay blinds again. All that said, with my experience on PPPOKER, even if I am actively trying to pick games that are mostly full of tight, careful players...the outcomes seem TOO often to be of very high variance. Considering my average buy in, I am down a ton. Maybe 30 buy-ins in the negative. There is something to be said when I come to the review section, and so many players are complaining about the same things. I'm just here to say that the disparity between my live stats and what I've done on the app seems a little unrealistic to me, possible extended-downswing or not. I play tight as can be, and with mostly consistent discipline. Just my opinion, but me not experiencing any form of a significant upswing over 20,000 hands is kind of a red flag of fairness for me.

Good place to play but since I upgraded to the latest upgrade I can't get into my union to play. There is no tech support so posting here. Would be 5 stars if they had adequate support.
