I paid to see the messages because I thought people were actually hitting me up for an apartment but it was a bunch of scammers and confused app users contacting me. I’d like my money back.
  • Scam, I pay the subscription because the app told me I had messages but their were not real.

People are on this app posing as renters and are scamming, it’s beyond disgusting people work hard for there money and scammers are having a field day with this app giving out addresses of homes that have been vacant since 2006, ask for a tour before you deposit is all I’m saying!!!

People are trying to find a home and in able to even view your messages you have to pay. A complete scam. Not only that but there are so many scammers.
  • Horrible UX that won’t allow changes to listing. Overpriced. Suspiciously Spam-like Users.

I paid for 1 week of access at $9.99 and what a ripoff. For starters, I couldn’t make any changes to my listing because the UX apparently isn’t conducive with the iPhone 12 Pro Max screen. Specifically I tried to amend the availability date but couldn’t even get the calendar to display or allow me to go back in the menu. Icing on the cake would be the users who are largely looking for impossibly low rental prices. I realize that’s not Roomster’s fault but it’s worth pointing out to others who may be considering using this service.
  • Payment for messages but most are spam

In this app you have to pay a subscription fee in order to see any messages that are sent to you. If you don’t pay, you will get notified that you have received a message, but you won’t be able to open it. I used the free version for a couple of days and accumulated about 15 messages that I wasn’t able to view. Finally I paid the lowest subscription possible just to see if any of these messages were good offers, but no. All of them were spam. My subscription lasts for five days and every message I’ve received since paying is spam. I have sent messages to potential landlords and roommates inquiring about their availabilities, but have gotten nothing in return from them. This app is useless unless you pay, and even then, it’s still useless.
  • Fix screen size issue please!!

I have an iPhone XR and I literally cannot use the “Done” button when editing a move-in or lease start/end date in the top right corner. It’s blocked by my wifi and battery level, please fix this!
  • Don’t do it

App is rife with scammers. Also the ploy for your money by making you pay to verify your ID? What kind of joke is this? Until something is done about this abundance of scammers, this app is not worth paying an ounce for.
