  • There’s still scammers :(

I listed a room share and I can’t seem to get it to stop showing me places for rent when I’m trying to find a housemate. I’ve had several people contact me asking to look at my apartment “today”. With the last one, we agreed to meet around 7pm. I gave them the address to a coffee shop and suddenly they couldn’t make it. I also find it shady that as I was beginning to create my ad, I get an offer to get full access on the app for three days, for free, if I give a positive review on social media. I’ve never used the app, so how am I supposed to know if it’s a good app?? The app is a good idea but it misses the mark for me.

  • Great app

I used this app to help find my last roommate and it has been incredible all apps have flaws but I managed to find a good friend in the end. They should let you have a week free before they charge but just an idea.
  • Almost a good app

I use this app last year… And ran into similar problems. Last year I was looking for a room to rent… This year I was renting a room when it comes to people looking for rooms… Biggest fault: I believe there are avatar/bot accounts programmed into this app that make it look like there are more ppl using it than really are. Randomly new people will show up in your message box that were not available in your feed. Not “new” but new to you, Looking for a room to rent. They will be in your perfect price match / seem like a fit. They send you an auto generated message, and then never respond when you do, plus they don’t have generic information filled out on their profiles. And their pics just seem too avatar like. This all happens right before you need to renew your subscription too. And to add to that, there are several accounts I saw last year that are here today. Showing current? Same pic, same info, But won’t engage? Suspicious. Bottom line, when looking for a room or having a room to rent… it’s obvious when someone is real. And To be honest, the fact that you aren’t required to fill out more information as a roommate is a massive fail on this app. “Description coming soon”. I’ve been on room renting apps and shared listings on FB market place and Craigslist. There is a huge market for People looking for rooms to rent. I feel this app is popular enough… but there are some major faults that if fixed it could blow up. The pay structure is ridiculous and the features you don’t get by not being upgraded. There is improvements that would make this a more popular app. There needs to be better way at verifying ppl too. Making ppl actually enter info, fill out bios, and be a real person. Taking this account set up more serious might make ppl actually use the app seriously. Room renting is like dating. There needs to be a better platform for ppl to get to know each other. I mean your pairing ppl to live together. Idk… this is almost a good app. But I definitely think they need to think about the customer experience a little more than just the app features.
  • Can’t view messages without paying!

I’m not subscribing just to view messages. Total rip-off
  • Scam

    By Tor-myster
I signed up for the app and created a listing for my apartment. I was then told I had several messages waiting and I needed to pay to see them. Only thing is, they weren’t actual messages from people interested in my place and I only found that out after I paid. This is a scam. They take your money and make you think there are people messaging you, but in reality there are not.
  • Pay to see messages 12$/7days

    By soontofu321
You need to pay to view received messages and it’s 12$ for 7days?! Dude even Elon’s blue is cheaper than that, name one streaming subscription charges more than that 🙄
  • Waste of money

Don’t do the upgrade not worth a cent.
  • Has potential

But like with most apps this is where they lose people. Paying for messaging is just a turnoff for everyone. If they’d do away with that it wouldn’t bother me if they threw more adds in there to make more money. Idk. Like I said. Has potential. We’ll se what happens
  • More interested in money

Don’t try to help you, care about taking your money
