  • Getting better

    I’ve been using this app for awhile now, 8 or 9 months. I’m stopping because of the price, but I will say the workouts have come a long way since I first started. My initial issue was that the workouts made no sense (I’m no expert but played ball on college and am in the Marines, so I’m not ignorant either). Additionally, excluding a workout (I’m 32, I don’t do Olympic lifts anymore) would jack up everything - the app would get confused and next thing you knew your workouts were just 10 sets of glute raises. Since then the workouts have become much better, and the app runs smoother when you exclude a lift. Only issue now is the app freezes your phone in the middle of a workout. I think it’s the newest update, it’s just started but has happened 3 workouts in a row. The app is going in the right direction, even for the higher price tag.

    I think a calorie counter should be added because first off we pay for the app and I think more people would want the app if they can do their work outs and count their Calories in the same app. I know I would sure like it more and I love the app as it is!

    Loving this fitness app. I have been looking for an app that I can use at home. This app provides a ton of good workouts. I love how I can replace certain exercises if I don’t have all the equipment.

    Makes workouts easy. Love that it keeps track of fresh muscle groups. It gives you example videos and options to switch to a different exercise for that muscle group. I definitely feel like I’m making progress with this app.

    This app is exactly what I needed! I’ve never been a regular gym-goer and often found myself wandering around the gym at a loss of what exercises to do. I struggled to come up with a regular fitness plan that fit my needs. Fitbod not only gives you a set workout plan, it also gives you the freedom to customize it to what you want & what your goals are. It also shows videos and gives written instructions for every exercise, so I never have to worry about looking like I don’t know what I’m doing! Seriously, this app has given me so much more confidence at the gym and motivates me to work out regularly. I recommend it to everyone, regardless of experience level. I don’t normally write reviews either. That’s how much I love this app.
  • Glitches

    I have been using this app for over a year and have even tried others but come back. Clearly, I like the app, I do build my own workouts and mostly just use it for tracking what I’ve done. However, within the past few weeks I’ve noticed more and more glitches. Now when I go to use the app I usually have to open and close out the app several times because it freezes and doesn’t resolve on its own. This become very aggravating when I’m at the gym trying to use it. Once I am able to start a workout I usually don’t have any issues it’s only when I first open it. Hope there is a resolution for this soon so I can continue to effectively use the app.
