    Today (2/20/21) I decided to throw my YI cameras away and cancel my service. I’ve literally thrown $hundreds down the drain dealing with their incompetence. I purchased the Yi cameras and cloud service several years ago. I really like the cameras and app — very easy to use. Unfortunately, I’ve been very frustrated with the accompanying cloud service. It had randomly disconnected my service several times. I pay for it monthly through Apple, but all of the sudden when I go to check footage I discovered it is no longer recording. When I need to review footage, nothing is there. Basically a waste of money. When I try to subscribe the app tells me I’m already subscribed. I then have to spend two weeks going back and forth with someone on their support team to try to get this back on again. Obviously, their system knows I have service because it won’t let me sign up again, because it keeps telling me that I’m already registered. This has happened over and over and over again. So frustrating.

    There is a serious audio issue with this app that need to be fixed, everytime I open the app there is no sound from the cameras and it’s getting aggravating so please fix it soon
  • Playing clips from sd card stopped

    I get notifications, click on them to play. But for now almost over a month I can’t play them. They just turn a different color letting me know I have seen the clip. Mine are all on my storage cars. Also the preview images of an alert are gone. So you if the clips would work you would need to play every clip.

    Have had this servo e for years. Renewed again for 2021. Took payment and still have no cloud service. Unable to contact because you just get an automated response bot. Payment confirmation shows card charged and haven’t been able to resolve for almost 2 weeks!
  • They try to trick you into buy cloud recording!

    The complete clip option used to work great before they tried pushing the cloud recording on everyone. There are ways of viewing the complete clip on your SD card, but they don’t make it easy and I think that’s very unethical to purposely sabotage an option on the app

    Cameras worked well for about a month now every time I try to check in on my family camera states it has no service speaker cuts in and out it’s a waste of money wouldn’t recommend this device at all
